Street art is a unique and colorful art form and can be found in all kinds of nooks and crannies in cities all over the world. Capturing art in the streets in photographs can be tricky because these urban art pieces are in public spaces, that are busy and usually filled with a decent amount of traffic. Sometimes you include the people and sometimes, you don't.

Architecture Photography

Sunday 22 September
Little Malop St, Geelong - 9am - 2 Hours
Karen Wekwerth
Architectural photography can be a great way of exploring and documenting a city, whether it's your home or on holiday. Its about capturing not only the design and accurate representation of a building, but to have the shots be aesthetically pleasing to the viewer's eye. An architectural photographer makes pictures, not takes pictures.

In this session, we will be covering how to better understand Architecture photography and we'll be looking at ways to take some impressive shots and the camera settings to use.

I am a late arrival to photography and have been taking photos since Christmas when I bought a Canon EOS 3000D for my son and me. Having opened my eyes to the wide and wonderful world of photography I have been particularly interested in trying macro shots. After learning through books and videos on YouTube I had been trying macro pictures with my 18-55mm kit lens. I then learned about macro tubes as an inexpensive way to improve my macro shots. Once they arrived I ventured into my somewhat

Usually I take photos of people, particularly portraiture but I am currently completing a Diploma of Photography and Digital Imaging. One of the assessment tasks was to mount our camera on a tripod and take several shots at a well-lit night scene using different ISO settings and compare the noise in the images when magnified at 100 on the computer. I love how the slow shutter speed captured the ferris wheel and the headlights on the car. The sky and cloud formation on this night created lots

The day before taking the shot, I drove up to RMNP to scout a possible Milky Way shot with Nymph Lake in the foreground. The scouting was successful as it did look like I'd be able to have both the lake and the Milky Way in the shot, so I made a plan to head up there again the next day (July 3rd) and capture what I planned. Prior to heading back up to RMNP, while looking at the map of the area, I noticed another possible location where Fall River would be in the foreground and in my mind, having
